Someone's Facebook post reminded me that DreamWidth was a thing and I thought 'yeah I miss seeing people's longer posts' also miss some of the people I don't Facebook with or who just don't Facebook. So HELLO here. No need to say hello back, I'll come find you x

The absense of a quick like/heart/angry means we have to use a virtual/real keyboard, by which time one might as well actually create a _message_. Whee!!!

I like that. I'm thinking less time on Facebook, more quality time on DW.

There is a lot of difference (imho etc) between the different SM services, mostly around reading control. Here I can limit to groups (met IRL, based in London, political, etc) which isn't easily don't, if at all, elsewhere. It means I feel freer to write my thoughts down.
