This is not an LJ post
Hello people!
I'll be abandoning/deleting* my LJ once I've grabbed all I need from it and spoken to a few people who aren't here and aren't on FB to work out ways we can still keep in touch. I was hardly ever on LJ anyway lately but, like others have suggested, an exodus to DW might get us back into using this sort of format again.
(*Leaving it open with no posts in apart from one photoshopped image of Putin in rainbow speedos is still an option)
I've made this post public since I'm still working on how to add people so feel free to comment.
I rarely post anything public so, y'know, just don't be a knob.
I'm about to go (back) to sleep now so I leave you with Gabor Maté talking about how how mental distress and pathology are mainly a consequence of our modern materialistic, consumption-driven, soul-sucking culture - although I notice in the background of his video that he does have some lovely home furnishings so, if you like your lamps and your bits (as opposed to being like me and not giving much of a fuck), you're in good company!
I can't remember how to embed - oo er missus etc.!
